The FDC transportation staff provides a wide variety of transportation planning, traffic engineering and roadway design services to both public and private clients throughout the State of Florida. Our staff includes AICP certified planners, registered professional engineers, and technicians with more than 60 years of combined experience. Equipped with the latest software including CUBE/FSUTMS, HCS, SYNCHRO, our staff ensures that the final work product is not only prepared quickly and efficiently, but also complies with the requirements of the review agencies.
Many of our transportation projects are full service traffic analysis, alignment planning, and detailed roadway/intersection design projects. However, a large portion of our services include preparing traffic studies, driveway permit applications, and internal circulation plans for our clients as a support service to FDC’s Engineering Department. We also prepare traffic studies, intersection design, signalization design, and provide traffic control design assistance as sub-consultants to other architecture and engineering firms.
