Almost all projects designed by Florida Design Consultants end up utilizing our Construction Administration Department, whether public or private sector design. This ensures our construction managers are fully versed in multiple jurisdiction requirements, and the unique requirements of what the private client or public municipality needs.
The scope of our construction administration services varies based on the project and the client’s desires. Certification and inspection services can include regular on-site inspections, hydrostatic and leakage (pressure) tests on all pressure pipes, sanitary sewer lamping, and pump station start-up inspections. Final inspections, project closeouts and coordination with local and state agencies are typically performed. Managers also review pay requests and contractor shop drawings, coordinate with the underground utility companies on line locations with the contractor, and schedule agency inspections. The preparation of project contract documents and technical specifications may be performed as well.
